How to split a class or export results from Equipe APP for a splited class

Split class

An organiser might need to split a class in several cases, for example, when the decision is made that the class would be split into to several classes, i.e. a special class is created for ponies of several categories or there are too many participants and rules require to have two separate classes. 

NB! DO NOT USE THE SPLIT CLASS FOR SECTION B! For Section B, a new class should be created in NRYFStevne (this can be done before or after exporting results). The reason is that the rule and the starting fees are different for Section B. Split class would copy these parameters from the source class. 

Split can be initiated after the split class function is done in Equipe APP before or after the results are exported to NRYFStevne. Please ensure that the split has been done correctly in Equipe before importing the results. 

There are 4 steps to follow:  

Step 1. Split class in Equipe APP, confirm all results and distribute prize money. 

Step 2. Split class in NRYFStevne. The button to split class will appear when show is in LIVE or Event ended status:  

Add the names of the original class and of a new class exactly as they are in Equipe APP, for example, 04 KAT 1 and 4_KAT3 og 2. Copy-paste the code from Equipe APP if needed (when the code is a bit complex to reproduce):

After the split class is done, for an old class and new class, you can adjust classes names and also the sections, i.e. remove or add ponies categories. All other parameters will be cloned from the source class, incl payments. 

Step 3: Export the results from Equipe APP to NRYFStevne as normal OR if Split class is done after results´ export, check the Results interface and confirm the added results.
